What to Expect From Your Session

Learn More About Hypnotherapy

Initial consultation:

Your hypnotherapy journey starts with a conversation about what you hope to achieve and how I can help you reach those goals. I’ll explain how hypnotherapy and the subconscious mind work, and together, we’ll identify the thought patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back. The session will end with a deeply relaxing hypnosis experience, leaving you calm and refreshed.

Hypnosis is often described as a mental massage. The deep relaxation brings about a shift in awareness, where you’re not asleep but actually more focused and open to new ideas. Rest assured, hypnosis is a collaborative process, and you’ll only go along with what you’re comfortable with—it’s not about mind control. You’ll simply feel deeply relaxed. Some people find their mind wandering, while others follow every word closely; there’s no right or wrong way to experience hypnosis, as long as you’re open to the possibilities.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how your brain works, why you think, feel, and behave the way you do, and how we can create positive change together. You’ll also receive a hypnosis recording to listen to between sessions. After this session, I’ll develop a personalized plan, which we’ll begin in our next session.

Subsequent sessions:

In subsequent sessions, we’ll begin by discussing the positive changes you’ve noticed since our last meeting and explore what else needs to happen for you to reach your treatment goals. Through psychotherapy and coaching, we’ll identify actionable steps to help you move forward, and then I’ll guide you back into the relaxing hypnosis you experienced in the consultation to reinforce our discussion and tap into your inner resources to address your challenge. Some sessions may also incorporate elements of NLP, CBT, and EFT. My approach is always personalized, as your treatment plan is as unique as you are.

As we invite the subconscious mind to view things from a new perspective, it’s common for ideas and solutions to surface between sessions—often at unexpected moments. Your subconscious already knows how to resolve your issue; together, we’re simply helping you unlock that solution.
